Module locking with internal elements
To enhance convenience and security in project management, a new feature has been introduced - module locking with internal elements. This function protects modules and the elements placed within them from accidental modifications while maintaining access to key customization options.
How Does Locking Work?
-
Fixing Elements Inside the Module:
Clicking the lock icon locks the module. This means:- Elements placed on the module cannot be accidentally moved.
- Elements cannot be deleted from the module.
-
Maintaining Customization Flexibility:
Despite the lock, you can still:- Move the entire module within the scene.
- Adjust its parameters, such as size, height, decor, and other options.
-
Intuitive Visualization:
- The active lock status is displayed directly in the module settings, ensuring you always see when it is fixed.
- To unlock, simply click the lock icon again.
Why Is This Important?
- Protection from accidental changes: Locking helps prevent errors when moving or deleting elements during design.
- Convenience for complex modules: Fixed elements remain in place, which is especially important for projects with numerous decorative or functional details.
The module locking feature is a practical tool that enhances reliability and ease of use in the online product. It helps prevent accidental mistakes and allows users to focus on the creative process while retaining access to all essential customization options.
