View Setup: A new approach to managing project visuals
Our platform now includes updated functionality for view settings, which replaces the outdated default view setting. The new tool provides greater flexibility and convenience for creating more project visualizations.
How does view setup work?
-
Adding views:
- Adjust the camera position by choosing the desired angle.
- Save the current camera position as a view in the project information section.
-
Multiple views:
- You can add an unlimited number of views, saving different angles for convenience in viewing and working.
-
Selecting a default view:
- One of the saved views can be set as the default view, which will be used when opening the project.
-
View navigation:
- Clicking on a saved view automatically moves the camera to the specified position on the scene.
Useful features of the new functionality
- Saving layers and markers:
Each view saves the current settings of layers, markers, and dimensions. This is useful for future specifications. - Automatic updates:
Views are automatically updated when the project is modified and saved to reflect the latest information. - Use in specifications:
Saved views are included in the project specifications, adding visual clarity to the project.
Advantages of view setup
- Ease of use: Allows for quick switching between pre-configured angles.
- Improved accuracy: Saves details such as dimensions and layers for each specific scene.
- Time-saving: Eliminates the need to manually adjust the camera position every time.
The new view setup functionality makes working with projects in Prodboard even more convenient and efficient. Set up angles, save them, and create clear specifications for your clients.
